Author - Spain
I am a university professor and author of research studies and educational books and materials. Researching requires a solid basis, long bibliographic reviews, intuition, creativity and experimentation. Producing materials geared towards educating is rather more difficult and complex, as it requires excellent knowledge of the subject matter and good communication and writing skills, as well as updating your teaching abilities, constant dedication and many hours of work. This is why the right of copying of these findings and publications belong to the author (copyright). These rights must be safeguarded through national and international legislation and agreements.
In the educational field, a copyright limit can only exist when there is a system of licences that establishes specific rules that, under the corresponding flexibility, are not detrimental to such rights. In the event that mandatory exceptions are established, determining at the same time a mandatory payment system that restores the balance would also be necessary.
